Description

To foster team coordination and engagement to the Financial Services (FS) portfolio across the University of Saskatchewan. The position also acts as the first point of contact and a resource for incoming queries to FS and as triage to deal with a broad spectrum of issues across the portfolio.

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Financial Services (AVP FS), the Manager& PTO is responsible for working with and providing confidential and high-level support to the AVP FS on strategic planning, organizational development, and coordination of desired outcomes with the Financial Services Leadership Team (FSLT), colleges, and other administrative units. The position focuses on coordinating and supporting initiatives that have a broad scope and impact within the university. The position requires a general business skillset to support the range of activities while providing specialist expertise in team and project management to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. Considerable discretion is required as the position is privy to and works with sensitive, highly confidential information. The position is focused on positive and proactive change for the university and must utilize evidence-based analysis and decision-making; prioritizing and proactively addressing issues; and utilizing a consultative and inclusive approach and a faced paced and positive team environment.

This position supports the FSLT in integrated planning initiatives, customer experience design, policy development, the achievement of institutional goals, team coordination & building and general financial services delivery. This position also supports specific initiatives contributing to enhancing the team & customer experience and ensuring optimal methods of service delivery to students, faculty, and staff and other key stakeholders.
