We are looking for experienced Delivery Drivers to work on a casual on-call basis
Note: this is a casual on-call job, NOT a part-time job.
Ideal for someone looking for extra income and flexible hours
- Valid drivers licence with 5 years driving experience and a clean drivers abstract.
- Proven ability to operate a motor vehicle within a defined geographical area (including both urban and non-urban areas) in all weather conditions.
- Strong orientation to safety, with a demonstrated commitment to the principles of defensive driving.
- Experience as a Delivery Driver in a time-sensitive, customer interfacing environment preferred.
- Able to provide accurate on time delivery to multiple retail locations.
- Experience or comfortable using an on-board GPS navigation system.
- Able to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis.
- Ability to represent a professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service approach when dealing with customers.
- Comfortable with being directly involved in a fast paced environment.
- Well organized and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Able to work independently following company procedures and policies.
