Description

The Hillcrest Golf Club is a par 71, 18 hole public course located in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Our 100 year old, 6400 yard course challenges the golfer with elevation changes, tight tree lined fairways with several sand and water hazards. Additional facilities offered at the Hillcrest include a driving range, putting green and restaurant.
The Hillcrest Golf Club is accepting applications for a General Manager position to oversee our pro shop and restaurant operations. This position will work side by side with the course Superintendent.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must be a CPGA professional with a food services background capable of managing all the duties associated with the day to day pro shop and restaurant operations. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to and motivate staff are required.
    Strong financial skills, ability to read and analyze reports
    Strong communication skills, verbal and written
    Team oriented with an empathetic and tolerant personality
Duties include but are not limited to
    Effectively manage labor and food/beverage costs
    Providing golf lessons
    Develop a junior program
    Staff management
    Public relations
    Creating a yearly budget
    Inventory management
    Advertising with a entrepreneurial spirit
    Tournament organizing
    Member and green fee player engagement
