David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, to recruit a skilled and experienced Accounting and Payroll Administrator to join their team in a friendly and fast paced work place.
This diverse role includes accounting functions within a team environment. The position requires a multi-tasking individual with strong communication and computer skills. The successful candidate will be highly organized, thorough and attentive to details.
The Role:
Accounts Payable and Receivable
G / L Entries, Month Ends and Year Ends
Bank Reconciliations and Financial Reporting
Calculating, reporting and issuing payment for monthly tax remittances
Researching and resolving accounting discrepancies
Accurately submitting weekly payroll in a timely manner
Issuing T4's
All other general office / administrative duties as assigned and required
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a University Degree in Accounting with two to five years' experience in an Accounting role. Compensation based on education and experience.
