Description

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have a BSc in Chemical Engineering, as well as a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline, and must be eligible for registration as a PEng with the APEGS.

The successful candidate will deliver chemical engineering core undergraduate courses and develop and deliver post-graduate courses.  In addition, the candidate must establish and sustain a dynamic and vigorous national-caliber research program in the field of sustainable energy production and processing and environmental engineering.

The successful candidate must provide evidence of research and teaching excellence in one or more of the following research areas: renewable/fossil energy production and sustainable environmental solutions, with a specific focus on the development and application of natural energy resources; process intensification and modeling; life cycle analysis; and industrial applications.
