Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Ensure internal and external teams are communicated to in proper and timely format with respect to Project schedules and have necessary training and tools to provide safe and effective QA/QC program
Ensure that all key stakeholders to the Legacy Project are communicated to in a timely fashion
Lead the QA/QC effort in collaboration with the QA/QC team, with respect to HSSE by practicing due diligence to all related issues affecting people, the environment and Legacy assets
Effectively supervises resources within their control, minimizing waste and risk to the Legacy Site
Participate and/or facilitate in monthly safety meetings and daily toolbox sessions
Drive the HSSE policies for the Legacy Site as they impact all K+S employees, contractors and site visitors
Communication is key to this job and keeping an open door to all employee and contractor concerns in a positive manner is key to the Legacy Sites success
Exercise control for all budgetary limits and communicate their status on a routine basis (as necessary)
Be able to recognize cost savings measures early in the project
Ensure construction installation takes into consideration future operability and maintainability considerations
Ensure QA/QC documentation is in a recoverable and site standard format for future access by key stakeholders
Leverage all QA/QC documentation for the Sites Operational Readiness mandate as they relate to compliance and license to operate criteria
