Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer II at our Belle Plaine, SK location. The successful candidate will manage the time sensitive and high ranking projects in the department. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision and construction management. The engineer will also support production and maintenance by working with the Belle Plaine team to achieve the strategic priorities of Mosaic.

What will you be working on?
*Project execution and management: scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality and contractor management.
*Engineering design (developing engineering work packages for projects).
*Department initiatives (non-project specific engineering, project management process definition).
*Site and company initiatives to support safety, production, expansion and maintenance.
*Technical/personal development and coaching others (contractors, trades, training courses etc.).

What is required for this role?
*Bachelor of Science in Engineering, majoring in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Industrial Systems.
*Registered as an EIT or P. Eng with APEGS.
*1-5 years of relevant work experience.
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Engineering Software and Maximo.
*Positive can-do attitude, strong work ethic and demonstrated management experience.
*Strong problem solving skills.
*Organized, self-motivated and be able to manage competing priorities.
*Broad engineering and construction knowledge in all disciplines is an asset.
*Skills in people management, leadership, written/verbal communication  are more highly valued than detailed design experience.
*Experience delivering projects in an operating plant or brownfield environment is an asset.
