Cross Borders is a progressive Exploration Drilling Company looking to fill Derrick Hand positions. Shift schedules are predominantly 2 weeks on with 1 week off.

Candidates must possess the following valid tickets:
- H2S Alive
- CSTS
- Standard First Aid
Asset:
- OSSA Regional (prior to July 1, 2015); or
- OSSA Basic Safety Orientation
You MUST also hold a valid driver's license. Class 1A or 3A would be an asset.

- Train and supervise floorhands, assistants and helpers
Oil and Gas Well Drilling Worker Specific Skills
- Record mud flows and volumes and take samples
- Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps
- Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions and other mechanical equipment
- Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs
- Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the rig derrick
Work Setting
- Drilling and well service contractor
Oil and Gas Well Services Operator Specific Skills
- Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure
- Operate hydraulic pumping systems
- Mix chemicals and cements
- Drive well services truck to well site
- Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead
