Description

United Way of Saskatoon and Area is recruiting for a community-minded leader to implement their Boards strategic plan.  You will be successful by providing visionary leadership and engaging community stakeholders in a manner that motivates donors and employees alike. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the strategic direction for United Way of Saskatoon and Area with respect to financials, administrative and service activities. You will ensure the alignment with the United Way Mission and Vision, as well as compliance with established strategic direction, policy, legal and funding requirements.  

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO leads the United Way with particular attention to donor, community and government relations and with a focus on leading a common vision for Saskatoon.  You will provide recommendations to the Board and maintain collaborative relations with key stakeholders. Demonstrated judgment related to internal operations, human resource matters, budget preparation and approvals, program development, and responding to the needs of the community will be key responsibilities for this role.

The successful candidate will have a university education partnered with a minimum of eight years of pertinent experience in a collaborative and visionary leadership role. Managing multiple projects, organizing workloads, setting goals, analyzing and evaluating data for the solution of complex problems, while coordinating the efforts of numerous groups with varying interests, perspectives and timelines will be keys for success in this role.
