Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer at our Esterhazy, SK K3 location. The successful candidate will provide project engineering and management services to the K3 Stage 3 Capital expansion project which will ensure long term ore supply for the K2 and K1 Mills. He/she also provides engineering and supervision for the design and construction of projects included in the Stage 3 expansion plan. Projects include the K2 & K1 overland conveyors, K3 site infrastructure, south head frames and other projects related to the K3 site.

What will you be working on?
*Provide technical guidance to project teams, subordinates and affected site operations in mechanical, process and civil areas.
*Project design and coordination support of various EPCMs.
*Manage projects and contractor personnel to deliver desired safety & production results within time and cost constraints.
*Project planning, coordination and administration.
*Capital budget forecasting and continuous improvement implementation.

What is required for this role?
*Bachelor of Science in Engineering, majoring in Mechanical.
*Registered P.Eng.
*8 years of combined experience in Potash mining/refinery and project management. A good knowledge of the mining and refinery operation is required.
*Strong supervisory, team leadership and project skills.
*Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Project. Basic CAD knowledge and experience with other engineering software.
*Good safety and project leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
*Must be able to promote the companies best interests when dealing with government agencies, contractors, consultants, technical and supplier representatives.
*Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
*Must be authorized to work in Canada.
