Description

Position Summary:
The Full Time Home Visitation Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Home Visitation Program and management of its employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Full Time Home Visitation Supervisor will work in collaboration with the Half Time Home Visitation Supervisor to ensure the following:
-Regular clinical supervision of each Home Visitor and shadowing of their home visits, providing support/direction on individual cases
-Collaborate / coordinate with other professionals and agencies in delivery of services
-Identify and provide ongoing staff training and development, including support of their use of communication tools and Home Visitation Manuals
-Act as a resource to Home Visitors in the implementation of activities that support  child development
-Review referrals and assign accordingly
-Recruitment and training of new home visitors
-Maintain an inventory of program resources
-Ensure regular staff meetings
-Purchase and develop resources and materials required for the program
-Review / Maintain records and collect data for monthly statistics, evaluation and planning
-Financial Reporting/Monitoring, including  management of program expenses for budgeting purposes and staff timesheets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-You will possess a degree in human services discipline
-Knowledge of in-home service methodologies and experience with home visiting programs
-Extensive knowledge and experience working with parents and families, ex: Child development and effective parenting
-Knowledge and experience in team work, interagency and interdisciplinary approaches
-Knowledge of community resources
-Strong organizational and administrative skills including an understanding of and ability to use various computer programs
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrated clinical supervisory skills
-Ability and experience in staff supervision
-Ability to travel and work flexible hours
