The Role:
Proactively acquire new clients and manage existing accounts
Understand clients' businesses and proactively identify needs through sales activities such as face-to face calls
Deliver exceptional client experience by providing proactive advice and solutions. Understanding clients' businesses, identify needs, leveraging partners and promoting cross sell
Credit underwriting and compliance
Research, verify, analyze credit applications and prepare comprehensive credit applications of large and complex transactions
Make it easy for clients to do business with the company by bringing a full suite of products and services to the client while providing fast turnaround times
Monitor all assigned accounts to ensure conformity to terms and conditions, as stipulated in credit authorizations with timely financial statement reviews and screen interim statements for potential business opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
Outstanding sales/closing skills
Exceptional portfolio management skills
Proven ability to execute sales activities and manage sales pipeline
Excellent ability to establish and maintain a referral network to generate closed referrals
Outstanding negotiation skills
Excellent relationship and teamwork skills
Advanced credit knowledge of the Canadian Commercial Banking marketplace
5+ years of commercial banking experience
Credit underwriting and compliance
