Description

Longyu BLZ Construction at 136G 2nd Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1K5 seeking carpenters for all aspects of construction, renovation and repair in and around Saskatoon. Duties to include: Comprehend blueprint readings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions.
Build form for precast concrete manufacturing plant made of wood and steel.
Construct partitions and builds and strips concrete form; prepare, pour and strip precast concrete forms used to manufacture precast concrete underground water and sewer product.
Operate lift equipment, including loader, forklifts and overhead cranes
Assist in directing work and training of apprentices and labourers
Check completed units to be sure they are level and the right size and shape
Perform other related duties as assigned


Working Hours:  8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, 2 fixed days off on weekends

Wage: $23.00/hour

Work Location:    Job site in and around Saskatoon

Employment Requirements:

Education:  Completion of secondary school is required  

Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Carpentry
