Description

Seeking for a full-time caregiver/companion to provide care for elderly couple, one with dementia at their home in Mervin, Saskatchewan.
As caregiver/companion for an elderly, the successful applicant is expected to be honest, reliable and perform the following duties:

Provide elderly with companionship and personal care in client's home.
Aid client with basic household duties.(cooking & cleaning are part of job duties)
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the senior's personal, private home.

The chosen candidate will receive a wage of CAD $15.00 per hour, 44 hours per week. Overtime rate of 1.5 times employees regular wage for hours over 44 a week. Optional accommodation available  on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment. Also, the successful applicant will have 2 days off per week & 3 weeks vacation leave per year. All federal and Saskatchewan mandated benefits will be provided.

Qualifications:
    Secondary school education is required.
    At least 1 year experience in home care for elderly with dementia is required.
