Description

The Mainprize Golf Club is looking to hire a Pro Shop
Manager for the 2016 golf season. Mainprize Golf Club is a
public links style golf course located in Mainprize Regional
Park, Saskatchewan. We are in the southeast corner
of the province approximately 30 minutes
south of Weyburn. This position
will report to the board of directors and must:

-Make tee time reservations for members, non- members and tournaments
-Perform financial duties and records (balance
monies received from receipts and bank deposits as
directed by Park Management)
-Be able to hire, schedule and manage all staff
required in the operation of the pro shop
-Set up proper merchandise displays attractively
-Operate required equipment (cash register,
computer booking system, electronic payment
system, etc)
-Organize and ensure smooth traffic flow and
operation during daily course play and tournaments
-Be knowledgeable about the game of golf and the
surrounding area. This includes local amenities,
points of interest and rules and regulations of
the park.
-Posses strong customer service and retail sales
skills
-Be able to communicate in a professional manner
-Be able to react accordingly to any emergency or
confrontation and to be able to contact the
necessary authority or Park Manager
-Assist in maintaining the clubhouse grounds
(small equipment issues, window cleaning,
vacuuming, sweeping, watering of flowers, cleaning
of the washrooms and picking garbage and weeds)
-Be organized and able to multi-task in order to
efficiently manage time

Hours of work may vary, so flexibility is
required. All of our employees must possess a
strong work ethic and be concerned with ensuring
that all customer needs are met and satisfied.
This is a full time seasonal position that will
offer a competitive salary and benefit package
that is fully negotiable depending on experience.
