Description

SGI is currently looking for students to join its team from May 2, 2016 through August 31, 2016. To be considered for summer employment students must be currently enrolled in a post secondary institution and returning to full time studies in the fall of 2016.

Typical duties and responsibilities (not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments):
Sorts and files materials
Receives, organizes, codes and enters all documentation and correspondence and sends it to the appropriate area which the document is applicable
Provides basic information, answers related questions from customers and/or refers to appropriate person as required
Transcribe recorded dictation such as correspondence, letters, lists, memorandums, inputs data and inquires on computer systems
Assembles materials and follows standard or supplied instructions to type documents.
Maintains standard file records and/or logs and may be required to search for and/or reviews file documents
Opens, stamps, records, sends and distributes mail, orders and maintains standard office supplies
Performs departmental receptionist functions,provide front counter support
Operates common office machines and equipment
Minimum Salary:  $2,716 per month
