Northern Strands has been in business in Saskatoon for over 45 years with five divisions focused on delivering safe solutions for customers. The Engineered Fall Protection Division specializes in assessing customer sites and designing appropriate fall protection solutions. The Project Developer is responsible for the overall project management of the Fall Protection Division. The Project Developer sees the project through the entire project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing process groups. The Project Developer works closely with the sales team, installation crew and engineering team to develop the scope of work requirements, manage the installation and deliver the final turnover package to the customer.
The Project Developer will possess these skills:
1. Understanding of project management methodologies with ability to adapt to varied project requirements
2. Ability to read and understand engineered drawings
3. Organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
4. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have a background in structual, mechanical or civil engineering, building construction technology and/or related work experience. An understanding of OH&S regualtions together with experience in Mining, Construction or Industrial sites would also be beneficial.
