The Town of Canora is looking for Aquatic Staff for the upcoming 2015 season.
Positions include: Full-time Aquatic Centre Manager, Full-time Aquatic Centre Assistant Manager, Full-time Lifeguard/Instructor, Part-time Lifeguard/Instructor and Casual Lifeguard/Instructors.
Aquatic Centre Manager (Full-time)
Qualifications: Level 1 Pool Operator Course, Water Safety Instructor, Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or National Lifeguard Service, Lifesaving Instructor, Aquatic Emergency Care, CPR"C" & Standard First Aid or a combination of above qualifications and experience.
*Salary commensurate with qualifications & experience.
Aquatic Centre Assistant Manager (Full-time)
Qualifications: Water Safety Instructor, Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or National Lifeguard Service, CPR "C" & Standard First Aid. *Preference will be given to those applicants with Public Health Swimming Pool Operators Course, Lifesaving Instructor and/or Aquatic Emergency Care Certifications.
*Wages as per CUPE Local 4438 Agreement
Aquatic Centre Lifeguards/Instructors (Full-time, Part-time & Casual Positions available)
Qualifications: Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or National Lifeguard Service, Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Certification or Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid & CPR "C".
*Preference will be given to those applicants with any or all of the following certifications: Water Safety Instructor, Assistant Water Safety Instructor National Lifeguard Service & Aquatic Emergency Care.
*Wages as per CUPE Local 4438 Agreement
