Description

As an Administrative Assistant you will:

Provide assistance to all members of the Safety department, HR department, IT department, and  Administration department  
Provide back-up assistance for Reception
Administer accurate and timely data entry
Upkeep the management of databases and filing
IT Inventory Update
Electronic filing of project and safety documentation
Schedule meetings and interviews
Screening resumes for open job applications
Occasionally assist with the creation of purchase orders and requests from other departments and customers
Provide coverage and assistance for other administrative staff as required and complete general office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources, or General Management
Previous  experience in an administrative role in Service or Manufacturing industries preferred
Experience with accounting software, preferably SAGE AccPac, would be considered an asset
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Good verbal communication skills
General administration skills
