Description

POSITION AND SCOPE
At Envirotec, we pride ourselves on our leading edge fleet and equipment line that is meticulously cared for and regularly maintained by our Fleet Maintenance team. We are currently accepting applications for a Shop Supervisor who will work closely with all members of the Fleet Maintenance division to oversee and assist with the day to day maintenance and repair of the diverse equipment within Envirotecs fleet. The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for leading the safety program within the division and will ensure that safety continues to be at the forefront of all daily activities. Please note the chosen individual must possess their own hand tools with eligibility for an annual tool allowance following one year of service.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Journeyperson status within the Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment Trade

Experience leading a fleet maintenance team with a focus on safety and service excellence

Experience with the SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection program

Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license with a clean drivers abstract required, 1A or 3A license preferred

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on a wide range of machinery and equipment

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform and oversee preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and general repair on a wide range of company machinery and equipment

Lead the safety culture for the Fleet Maintenance team and ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies and procedures

Organize all resources and parts required, while closely monitoring service orders for accuracy to work being preformed

Communicate regularly with Service Coordinator and Fleet Manager regarding extent of repairs and anticipated timing

Coach and mentor team members while monitoring skill levels and reporting on performance

Assist with establishing time standards, productivity measures, budgets and forecasts for the division
