The purpose of the position is to work one-on-one with customers, enabling them to maximize their yields and profitability; the result will be long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. This position is vacant due to an internal promotion.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for providing professional information on all aspects of crop productions to local area farmers and key accounts; advising them on cropping plans, seed & soil assessments, fertility, pesticide use, resistance management and harvesting decisions. You will be involved in direct sales calls and will be expected to stay current in the agricultural sector through ongoing training and industry meetings.
If you have a minimum of three seasons of crop experience and seek a long-term career, this is your chance to take the lead by providing superior agronomic services and solutions to existing and new farm customers.
