About Us:
Established in 1991, Saskarc Industries is an
industry-leading custom metal fabricator, project
management and equipment sales and rental company.
We fabricate heavy plate projects as well as
structural steel fabrications.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Project
Manager will oversee and be responsible for the
overall management of large steel fabrication
projects from the award date through to
completion. You will work closely with
Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and
the client to ensure projects are being managed
efficiently and deliverables are of the highest
quality. Your main mandate is to ensure the
profitable and successful completion of projects
under their direction while continuing to develop
and maintain client relationships. Saskarc is
looking for a highly motivated individual who is
willing to take charge and work both independently
and in the team environment with minimal
supervision.

Qualifications:
-College Diploma and/or University Degree in
Mechanical Engineering or related field
-PMP designation will be considered an asset
-Minimum of 5 years North American practice
experience in the environment of welding and steel
fabrication
-Knowledge of welding and manufacturing codes and
standards is an asset (CSA W59, CSA W47.1, ASME,
API)
-Ability to read and interpret general
arrangements and fabrication drawings
-Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook,
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
-Proficiency in AutoCAD an asset
-Excellent interpersonal, communication,
facilitation and presentation skills
-Excellent organization and time management skills
