The successful candidate will be the point of contact for clients and responsible for developing and managing day-to-day relationships with both buyers and sellers in the global agriculture commodity business. This will involve working with the customer database and account information and identify marketing opportunities, sourcing of production, trading/brokering of ag commodities, and assisting in logistics planning.
Experience in the grain industry and specifically with grading specifications and logistics, (rail-road-sea), would be an asset.
Successful candidate should;
o be capable of working independently, be self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
o be confident in his or hers skills, yet have a willingness to learn and able to adapt to many situations
o have strong computer and MS Office software abilities
o possess excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
o possess strong problem solving, decision-making and organizational skills
o understand the market supply and demand variables
o maintain excellent written and oral communication in English - Must be able to conduct presentations
