SOO LINE HISTORICAL MUSEUM ATTENDANT
to commence March 19, 2016
The City of Weyburn is a dynamic and progressive municipality located in the heart of Southeast Saskatchewan. The City has a population of over 10,500 and a solid economic and community foundation upon which new opportunities are continuously built. The Leisure Services Department is offering an exciting opportunity at the Soo Line Historical Museum. The Soo Line Historical Museum Attendant Position is a key component to the Leisure Services Department as they provide support and public access to the Soo Line Historical Museum.
The Soo Line Historical Museum Attendant will be responsible for:
- Administrative duties such as cash, filing, typing;
- Providing tours of the Soo Line Historical Museum;
- Maintain the Soo Line Historical Museum and River Park tourist information;
- Janitorial and maintenance duties;
- Cataloging of artifacts;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience an asset;
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Salary will commensurate as per the CUPE Local 90 contract.
