Description

G.C. Jensen Acres Inc., a large, modern, grain farm operation located at SW 03-30-12 W3 of Milden, Saskatchewan S0L 2L0, is looking for 2 Seasonal Farm Labourers/Equipment Operators to perform the following duties: Operation of equipment for all or any of the following: field operation, seeding, spraying, swathing, combining, post-harvest maintenance/tillage; Help in regular maintenance of farm equipment; Regular maintenance of farm yards and buildings (mowing of grass, and help in repair and maintenance of buildings); General day-to-day tasks required for operations of the farm.

Requirements:  No formal education required; English language proficiency is mandatory; excellent written and oral communication skills; minimum of one complete cropping season of basic farm experience with modern machinery is an asset; mechanically-inclined; physically fit and self-starter; can work independently with minimal supervision and a team-player; when necessary, willing to work long hours; valid driver's license is mandatory (with clean driver's abstract); Class 1A driver's license is an asset.

Employment details:  Work is seasonal and full time from May 1 to November 30, 2016; wage at $22 per hour at average of 40 hours per week; modern, full-service accommodation and board are available on farm; on-the-job training provided.
