Description

Maintains a clean, safe, hazard free work environment.
Stocks and organizes work areas, fridges, freezers, and storerooms.
Assist with preparation of meals while ensuring food quality, presentation and consistency is maintained at all time in accordance with kitchen operating standards.
Consistently monitors kitchen operations and cleanliness.
Builds and maintains relationships with team members and front of house staff.
Demonstrates high personal integrity, business ethics and takes every opportunity to promote the hotel and restaurant
Works closely with and reports to the Restaurant Chef
Able to meet deadlines, works well in fast-paced environment, multi-tasking abilities.
Qualifications
Experience in kitchen cooking environments an asset
Able to work as a team member
Able to learn quickly in a fast working environment
Flexible, must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a keen eye for detail are essential.
Performs well under pressure
