Job Description: The Laboratory Diagnostic and Quality Assurance Services Manager is responsible for the provision of Diagnostic Laboratory Services (Microbiology, Histology and Cytology) by effective and efficient utilization of available resources. She/he is also responsible for Quality Management, Point of Care Testing and Special Projects.

The Laboratory Diagnostic and Quality Assurance Services Manager is one of two out of scope positions reporting to the Regional Director of Laboratory Services. The other one is the Manager of Laboratory Automated  and Accessioning Services.
Required Qualifications

Licensed with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Technologists
A certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized Administrative or Management program
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Intermediate computer skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Must possess strong conflict resolution skills to diffuse situations with staff, clients and/or their family members/support people
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work with others to generate and apply creative solutions communication issues

37.5 hours per week rotation.

Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for
informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
Expected Start Date: February 8, 2016
FTE: 1.00
