JOB SUMMARY

Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the shop.
Ensure the most effective utilization of facilities, equipment and manpower.
Supervise shop personal with an emphasis on open communication.
Create and maintain positive relations with our customers.
Commitment to a safe work environment and safe work practices.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Manager all personal in the branch.
Customer relation for both internal and commercial customers.
Monitor costs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis meeting budget projections.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment with the truckline operation daily.
Maintain skilled manpower at required levels to meet operating requirements both on an internal and commercial customer basis.
Provide a safe working environment and on going training of all employees ensuring compliance with Policy as well as regulatory affairs.
Continue to expand existing commercial customer base focusing on quality customers.
Work with all resources internal and external.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
Proven computer literacy.
Proven high standards of safety, productivity and process control.
Business Management as well as proven record of people skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 education.
Red Seal Technical diploma an asset.
Five years experience in a maintenance and management services environment.
Strong understanding of B620 & HM183 regulations is an asset.
Tank welding, repairs and modification an asset.
