Description
We are a family run farm with 1500 acres of land and 100 head of cattle. We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Min 1 year of hands on grain farm experience
Class 5 drivers license or equivalent required to drive equipment and get around (isolated area)
Understanding of long farm hours
Carpentry skills an asset
Responsibilities
Feed livestock as required
Detect disease and health problems in livestock
Clean barns and barnyards, and equipment
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns
Operating farming equipment
General farm labour
Perform other duties as need arises
