ATTENTION SASKATOON SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS we are expanding our team again
mindZplay Solutions, located in Saskatoon, has been developing Internet based software solutions since 2004. We are looking to add another web developer to our development team.
We are looking for
- Someone who is good at what they do and has fun doing it. Our corporate culture is somewhat relaxed Like to work in shorts and flip-flops? We dont care what you wear as long as you can get the job done We have work that needs doing.
- Someone who is able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision An individual with the ability to be proactive, prioritize work and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Design and develop code based on company standards
- Update and maintain existing software.
- Test and document software defects before going to production.
- Interact with clients to understand feature requirements
- Provide second level support to client problems and issues
- Document code designs and new feature requirements
- Participate in design and code reviews
Your Qualifications Must Include:
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems Technology degree
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of programming practices.
- Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML.
- Able to work in a team environment
- Good oral and written communication skills to interact with non-technical people
You would be even more desirable if your qualifications included:
- Experience in database performance optimization
- Experience with Linux in a high availability environment
- Interest in project management
