The Agriculture Solutions Specialist position is Blairs window to the customer. In this unique position you will create solutions and opportunities for customers to help their business be more profitable and efficient. The Agriculture Solutions Specialist role will have an animal nutrition focus (75% of time) with the ability to sell products within Blairs wide portfolio of products (25% of time).
Position Requirements
The Agriculture Solutions Specialist will be responsible for a territory/customer base and we will report to the Director Animal Nutrition. The position will require the ability to sell to a current customer base, prospect for new customers, take sales orders, ensure the sale is executed, manage credit/receivables, understand sales and profit/margin relationships, work within the Blairs team to create solutions within Blairs product portfolio. Since this position is similar to an account management role, frequent travel to the customers location and representation at industry events is required. Travel required will be 3-4 days per week. The Agriculture Solutions Specialist will also be required to maintain a mobile/home office and travel to the Blairs locations as part of their regular travel schedule.
