An exciting full time permanent position has recently opened up in one of Saskatchewans top legal firms. Our client was recently voted as one of the top employers in Saskatoon and is now recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to provide assistance in the area of civil and/or construction litigation.

Responsibilities will include:
Typing, editing and sometimes drafting complex documents from voicemail, email and dictation
Scheduling client appointments
Responding to client calls
Entering lawyers billing time
Monthly client billing
Organizing/coordinating lawyers schedule
Maintaining files in an up-to-date manner
Other related duties
Qualifications:
Must have sufficient related experience working in a law firm or other applicable industries
Proficiency with computer software and internet required (Word, Outlook, Excel, internet)
Ability to perform word processing at 60 words per minute
Ability to efficiently and effectively coordinate tasks
Ability to compose correspondence, reports, and other written materials using clear concise business English
The successful applicant must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, prioritization and organizational skills suitable to carrying out detailed processes and policies. The ability to work independently within a team environment is critical. Interpersonal skills including patience, diplomacy, tact, discretion, and professionalism are required.
