Louis Dreyfus Commodities has an opening for a fulltime Journeyman (Millwright) at our Yorkton, SK, Canola Crushing Facility.  The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent with a Millwright ticket.

Experience & Responsibilities: Four years of production/processing experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the oil seed processing or biodiesel industry. Some knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures and machinery. General knowledge of Process Safety Management, regulatory requirements the facility operates under (e.g., OH&S, Haccp, environment).  Perform maintenance support tasks on all equipment and other property within the facility. Responsible for ensuring plant equipment and facilities are available for safe, efficient and reliable operation, inspecting, installing, adjusting and maintaining mechanical machines on site. Repair and assemble plant equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and standards.  Safely operate mobile equipment including working from ladders, platforms staging scaffolds, mobile equipment baskets.  Must have full working knowledge of safe utilization and care of all types of power and hand tools in addition to full knowledge of cutting and welding practices.  Perform regular checks and fill out inspection logs of equipment and to immediately report any damage or other maintenance needs. Assist with the routine maintenance of all assigned equipment. Participate in the maintenance on-call rotation.  Work in an organized, safe, and clean manner, ensuring work area is kept clean and free from all safety hazards.  Respond to equipment issues or alarms; investigate and initiate resolution.  Operate Power Mobile Equipment including skid steers and front-end loaders. Assist with general sanitation and shutdown activities throughout the facility as needed.
