Position Summary:
This full-time job is a vital part of both parts and service operations for this busy Recreational Vehicle Dealership. The Parts Tech role requires attention to detail and diligent follow-up to ensure parts are received quickly and efficiently. You will also be required to assist with inventory control and shipping receiving, as well as working with the Service Department to provide support. This position is responsible to cheerfully and efficiently assist customers and vendors both over the phone and in person with their requests.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate part orders directly from manufactures and diligently following up to make sure parts are received as quick as possible.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to both internal and external customers.
Work directly with service department to dispatch incoming parts to technicians for work orders.
Assist with incoming shipments from trucks and stock items.
Provide product knowledge and customer service for our Retail store.
Assist sales staff in providing accessories to their customers.
Stocking the parts department when required.
Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or wholesale parts experience, preferably within the automotive or RV parts industry.
Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Must be detail oriented.
Basic computer knowledge including previous experience sourcing parts from online catalogs.
Reliable and strong work ethic. Professional appearance is a must.
