Description

KB Accounting Services Inc. is a fast-growing local company that provides full cycle accounting and book-keeping services for small businesses. We are looking for a motivated, high energy person to join our book-keeping team.

You must be a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and client relations skills.

You have to be able to work evenings and weekends during tax season (February to June) and be able to have fun at work!

Having experience doing full cycle book-keeping for small businesses, specifically in industries such as the trades, automotive and oil and gas would be an asset.

You must be able to keep financial records, and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Our main book-keeping system we use is Simply Accounting and you must have an advanced skill set in this software. Intermediate expertise in Quick Books would be an asset.

We also provide client payroll services and knowledge of Labour Standards would be an asset.

You must be able to submit tax remittance forms, workers? compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.

Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles.

You must be able to assist the accountant in the preparation for an audit by ensuring every client has a comprehensive audit trail with the production of financial statements, budgets and other financial reports by performing such duties as providing related documentation preparing various accounting summaries and reports and compiling statistics.

Must have a diploma or certificate in bookkeeping or accounting or one or two years of equivalent experience.

Hours are 40+ hours per week from February to June with an opportunity for Friday EDO's during July-August
