Our Head Office in Saskatoon is seeking a well-organized, responsible, and highly motivated person to become a member of our Operating Team. In this position, you will be responsible for bookkeeping and accounting activities and will report directly to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities will include:
-Data entry to Quickbooks Pro
-Reconciling Point of Sale system to Quickbooks
-Accounts payable entering invoices and reconciling statements
-Payroll, deductions, and benefits
-Bank reconciliations
-Monthly financial and sales reporting
-Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for other departments
-Government remittances
-Year-end accounting file preparation
-Maintain historical records
-General administration tasks
The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced team environment and will possess the following skills and qualifications:
-Education in accounting from a recognized institution.
-Previous bookkeeping experience will be considered an asset.
-Experience with Quickbooks and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
-Ability to work in a self-directed manner and as part of a team, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
-Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
-Interest in developing and expanding skills through various learning opportunities.
