Supervisor / Welding
Essential Functions:
- Working with the Director of Production to ensure strategic production and production goals are being met.
- Scheduling for all Throughput processes to ensure proper flow of work to maximize Throughput.  
- Scheduling manufacturing processes to maximize company efficiency by determining production priorities and ensuring the resources to achieve them.
- Detailing processing methods in consideration of equipment, quality standards to be met, time required to do the job and skill sets.
- Ensure that welders are achieving target times.
- Troubleshoot and manage any interruptions or deterrents to production.
- Continuously promote a lean manufacturing mentality in the shop.
- Ability to operate and maintain all welding shop equipment.
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed.
- Inspect welded components to ensure they meet tolerance specifications.
- Oversee the documentation and inspection reports, material specifications, and other documents for all manufactured parts.
- Write and modify weld procedures as required.
- Proactively seek new ways to continually better all processes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and repair.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and disciplining of new and existing employees.
- Work needed hours to complete jobs and meet production deadlines.
