The Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment invites applications for a position as Casual Administrative Assistant II in their LaLoche office.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant II will be responsible for ensuring quality clerical support to Gabriel Dumont InstituteTraining & Employment through effective commuication, organization and technical skill. Duties will include but not be limited to; front end reception, clerical support, responding to and directing public enquiries, making arrangements for travel, preparing of meeting rooms and any other duties assigned by the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum Grade XII, with some post secondary training in a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a certificate or diploma in Office Education,  Office Administration or business college training; a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with Institute staff and other external agencies; extensive understanding of Metis culture and employment and training needs of Metis; and an excellant understanding of labour market issues and trends within Saskatchewan. Computer skills are essential. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
