The Registered Psychiatric Nurse establishes, monitors, and delivers nursing care to clients as directed, and in accordance with all required internal and external professional practice standards and is within the RPNAS scope of practice.
Nurses must be comfortable and competent to practice within their scope, in the community, and independently.
Requirements:
Solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of community nursing.
CPR
current TB screening
criminal record check including vulnerable sector
Must be able to travel independently within Saskatoon and Saskatchewan, as assignments may be in remote health centres and communities
Education:
Valid license with RPNAS
Bayshore Home Health Saskatoon sub-contracts with nurses; nursing assignments are on a casual contract basis.
