It is our aim that we provide high-quality childcare that amplifies child development in many positive ways. We are seeking a compassionate and professional Executive Director to manage the operations of the Hillcrest Early Learning Centre. As the successful candidate you have strong business acumen, are a leader able to build relationships with a desire to make a difference in many lives. This is a full-time, permanent position offering compensation and health benefits.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Create and maintain accurate records pertaining to: registrations, personnel, clients, financials, and budgets
Ensure all licensing and legislation is followed and up to date
Seek and complete applications for funding and additional revenue sources
Manage and schedule staff ensuring the safety of children is priority
Create an open atmosphere between families and the Centre building relationships of trust and collaboration with a focus on the development of the child
Oversee the implementation of a developmentally appropriate program
Advocate on behalf of the Centre in the community and at large
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business or Management or equivalent years of experience
1 2 years in a management function
ECE Levels 1, 2 or 3 not required at time of hiring but willing to register in the program during the first year of employment with plans to complete all levels
Experience working with a non-profit in a leadership role a definite asset
First Aid/CPR level C, Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Check, a TB and Drug and Alcohol test required
