Reporting to the ICT Supervisor, the IT Support Analyst is responsible for developing and executing action plans that fulfill business requirements within the established deadlines. Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organizations computer and phone systems in person, via phone, email and remote control. Identify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to assist users. Coordinate with other IT areas to resolve problems if necessary. Install desktop, laptops, tablets, phones, and other related hardware and software. Investigate hardware problems and perform minor system hardware and network repairs. Perform basic diagnostic testing. Maintain existing hardware and software.
The successful candidate will have experience with the following environments: Windows 7/10 with Microsoft Server 2012, Microsoft Office, Vmware virtualization, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Networking (CCNA preferred), Cisco wireless solutions, EMC data domain, IBM Lotus Notes, Oracle Applications. Experience in an underground mining environment would be an asset.
