This position will be filled by a students studying in the fields of Chemical or Electrical Engineering. Student candidates must be returning to a recognized post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis (3 or more classes) in the fall of 2016. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous engineering work term experience or summer student experience at CRC.
Duties and responsibilities will be based on whether the successful student is in the Chemical or Electrical Engineering program.
Duties for Chemical Engineering students may include, but are not limited to, catalyst management, development of process unit simulation models, utility studies, and the development of exchanger performance and monitoring packages.
Duties for Electrical Engineering students may include, but are not limited to, project work related to the relocation of PC and rack rooms to improve PLC equipment integrity, PLC programming changes, review of PLC logic trip points, cataloguing and indexing for Process Control files, and flow updates.
