WAREHOUSE PERSON - La Ronge, SK
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 is seeking applicants for a permanent, full-time Warehouse Person position starting as soon as possible and located in La Ronge.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- buying quality equipment, goods and services, for the schools and housing within the school division, and makes sure that incoming and outgoing products are in good condition.
- processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- building and maintaining good relationships with both potential and existing suppliers.
- match purchase orders to sales orders and process for payment.
- maintain a variety of files, reports; and records of stock.
- assist with other facilities functions, including administration, maintenance, and repairs.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- grade 12 or equivalent diploma, post-secondary courses in office or warehouse management considered an asset;
- basic inventory experience
- knowledge and understanding of parts and materials used in trades considered an asset (i.e. plumbing, electrical and construction materials);
- computer skills: knowledge of a variety of software packages (e.g. database for inventory control, spreadsheet, word processing);
- Certificates in GHS (WHMIS), MSDS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
This position has an excellent vacation and benefit package; short term housing may be available.
