Do you have experience with being an Office Clerk or Support Staff member? Looking for a future with the Federal Government?

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, is recruiting an Office Clerk for various term and contract positions within the Federal Government.

The ideal Office Clerk will be highly detailed and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the office staff members and will be required to perform various administrative and clerical functions. You will be required to undergo a Reliability Security Clearance background check and you MUST be a resident of Canada for the past 5 years.

The Role:

Tracking, editing, filing, and assisting with correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, and documents
Faxing, photocopying and filing
Assisting with data entry
Maintaining the appearance of the office
Answering phones, taking messages, making appointments, and scheduling, as required
Working with documents and templates in the Microsoft Office Suite

The Ideal Candidate:

Two (2) years of previous clerical/administration experience
Eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance Background check
Must have at least 5 years' residency in Canada
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to follow procedures
Strong ability to work with templates
