The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Training & Employment Department is now accepting applications for the remainder of the 2015-2016 academic year to fill the following position based out of Senator Myles Venne School (SMVS) in La Ronge:

SENIOR SCIENCE TEACHER

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

-  Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate;
-  Experience teaching senior level physical, environmental and earth science;
-  Accreditation and/or certification in those teaching areas is preferred;
-  Excellent classroom management skills;
-  Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
-  Cross ? Cultural experience is an asset.
-  Experience teaching in Block scheduling system an asset

Deadline for applications:    February 21, 2016

This is a term position until the end of June with the possibility of extension to the next school year.
