HSP Parts Technician Profile
The Parts & Service department plays a vital role in organizing the procurement and inventory of all goods secured or used by Heat Smart Plus. This role will also extend to assist in the coordination and completion of service calls offered to our client base. This position will also assist in various sales related to parts or components.
Roles & Duties of Position (include, but not limited to)
Set up & oversee a inventory management process to organize and ensure accuracy in inventory stocks, including storage, labeling, and inventory counts.
Assist in identifying product that needs to be procured.
Responsible for all shipping & receiving to ensure accuracy in regards to completeness of orders, as well as noting any exceptions such as damage.
Look to implement a proactive approach to assisting customers with the selection and ordering of maintenance items, including the creation of all related quotes for parts or components.
Take a active role in assisting with sales related to parts, components or systems.
Assist in organizing customer orders, to ensure completeness & accuracy of orders.
Provide assistance to organize service calls, assistance can include; coordination of service calls, writing and reconciling service orders, locating parts, ordering parts or assisting with the completion of service calls.
Continuously monitor work area to ensure storage of inventory items do not pose any safety hazards, and any noted hazards are addressed immediately.
Other duties as assigned.
Working conditions
This position will typically work 40 hours a week dedicated to the parts area.
Some weekends or evenings may be required.
