Description

Adecco is currently recruiting for an experienced Animal Nutritionist to join our clients fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing company. The focus of this position is to ensure that our clients team is educated on the most current Nutritional information with respect to animal production. As a member of the Management Team, you will determine strategic direction for future development to maximize customer returns. Located just 30 minutes from Saskatoon, our client has been in business in Saskatchewan since the 1960s and are an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of agriculture equipment. Nutritionist responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and presentation of training presentations to the Sales/Territory Managers, R&D department, Service personnel and other related team members regarding latest Nutritional information which would be pertinent to products.
- Work with the R&D Team to provide input regarding the development of new products and/or enhancing current products that will improve farming efficiencies.
- Develop, direct and execute field research conducted by company on site and at various locations to capture and interpret data.
- Provide leadership and expert guidance in the investigation and resolution of customer problems related to agricultural practices.
- Attend Agricultural Conferences and Tradeshows to remain current with industry research and trends.

Nutritionist Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Agriculture
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Nutritionist
- Broad understanding of customer needs (animal production)
- Strong listening, team work and communication skills
- Preference for candidates with manufacturing background or mechanical aptitude.
