David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Job Scheduling Manager, responsible for managing the operation and related activities of a busy quality-focus commercial overhead door company.
The Role:
Receive and schedule service and install calls and emails
Quote jobs / Estimating and Scheduling - including work-orders, parts, technician time, delivery, cleanup, final inspections
Review work orders and service reports daily for accuracy
Managing all technicians and helpers - technical expert; OH door systems
Ongoing evaluation of technician's performance
Inventory control
Site-visits
Growing the business through business development activities
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 10+ years in the overhead door supply, service and installation industry. Experience in the managing and operations of a major, overhead door business, including estimating and scheduling proficiency, familiarity with Word and Excel based programs, scheduling and accounting software's - in addition to a customer-service focused and people-management background - will be paramount.
