Must be able to competently install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair personal computer compatible hardware and PC operating systems, including installing, troubleshooting basic network and internet connectivity, dial-up, DSL and cable.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- Achieve financial targets
- Establish & maintain service excellence by assigning the highest priority to customer satisfaction & demonstrating quality in every aspect of work
- Co-ordinate the repair of Store DOA Computers, Laptops
KEY TASKS include but not limited to:
-Promote,suggest, sell quality tech services and peripheral upgrades through regular customer contact
-Communicate with customers, arrange service appointments
-Prioritize plan service work using Rate Guide appointment system
-Complete Service Events within the 72 hour maximum turn time rule
-Strive to achieve qualify upgrade/repair & diagnosis of computer products to prevent rework
-Maintain a neat and well organized customer file system
-Perform in store -in home computer upgrade and set ups as required
-Facilitate repairs to be done by Mobile/Depot Technician to ensure satisfactory customer service standard
-Communicate with Mobile/Depot technician & MT Supervisor
-Work with latest technology
-Coverage on sales floor when required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated skill in performing services/upgrades to PC's & laptops
High School Diploma
Experience with customer contact in a retail &/or service environment
Excellent customer service & communication skills
Exerience in resolving challenging customer service scenarios
Ability to effectively respond to interuptions, prioritize & milti-task in a busy retail service environment
Must successfully complete a practical In House Skills Competency examination administered by a Mobile/Depot Technician
