Job Description

Job Requirements:
18 years of age or older; Driver's License and having access to a vehicle an asset; Operate in a high paced environment; Possess a valid Saskatchewan Security License or willing to obtain
Security guard certificate; Minimum of 6 months experience in security; High school education or equivalent;WHMIS, FIRST AID, CPR an asset; Criminal Record and vulnerable sector check will be required before applying.
Must be able to pass an English comprehension test with a minimum of 80%;Physically fit;Abiltiy to carry up to 50lbs;Ablity to walk up and down stairs; Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time (20 mins - 2 hours.
Ability to work with the public and deal with conflict resolution;A positive and professional attitude; Excellent communication skills; Strong customer service skills; Ability to follow directions, solve problems, make decisions, observation and situational awareness; Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a member of a team; Able to respond to emergency situations; Knowledge of relevant legislation; Previous security experience is an asset
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
Valid First Aid and CPR; Security guard certificate; Law and Security or Police Foundations training; Vehicle will be required to be able to reach the work location
